Install cent OS on virtual box


If you wish to use multiple operating system on single hardware machine such as Ubuntu, Cent, Windows  or any other we can easily install any of virtual machine application such as VMware, Oracle VM VirtualBox etc..

here lets see the example of Oracle VM VirtualBox.

After installation of  this application we can have multiple OS as per requirement but remember it share RAM and Hard Disk space and other hardware resources from your existing hardware resources so make sure you have enough space and RAM available.

After installation of VBOX application follow few steps to install new virtual OS.
first create an virtual environment by allocation of RAM and HDD space.

$wget -q https://www.virtualbox.org/download/oracle_vbox_2016.asc -O- | sudo apt-key add -

$ sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian   `lsb_release -cs` contrib"

$ sudo apt-get update

$ sudo apt-get install virtualbox-5.2

$vbox
