New Space India Ltd (NSIL),  established by  of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)commercial subsidiary. 

Recently, New Space India Limited (NSIL), the newly created second commercial arm of the ISRO Indian Space Research Organisation.

New Space India Limited (NSIL), a wholly owned Government of India undertaking/ Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE), under the administrative control of Department of Space (DOS) commercially exploit the research and development work of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Centres and constituent units of DOS.

NSIL was set up to meet the ever-increasing demands of Indian space programme and to commercially exploit the emerging global space market.  The emergence of NSIL would spur the growth of Indian industries in the space sector and enable Indian industries to scale up manufacturing and production base.

The new company will also look after the production and marketing of space-based products and services, including launch and application, developed by ISRO centres and the constituent units of the Department of Space and marketing spin-off technologies and products and services both in India and abroad.

Antrix Ltd is another PSU under the Department of Space that acts as a commercial arm of ISRO. Antrix Corporation Limited were commercially launched A total of 239 satellites during the last three years.
