How to change defaults fonts in Microsoft Word 2016 for Windows OS 

Steps to change your Word 2016 default font


  1. Open MS Word Program 
  2. Next 
  3. Open any existing document or create a new document.
  4. It may be any file, but a document needs to be open to access the required menus.
  5. Next
  6. Click the Home tab in the top left corner.
  7. Under the Fonts block, 
  8. click the expand button.
  9. It's a small arrow icon in the bottom right corner. This will open the Font settings window.

  1. After getting access to this interface we can change the Default "Font type"
  2. "Font Style" "Font Size" "Font Effect" "Underline style" etc.
