Set of commands to make any portable device bootable

Using the following list of commands below one can make any portable device bootable for the purpose of operating system installation.

Step 1. click start and run windows command prompt as administrator.

Step 2. run command diskpart

Step 3. list disk

Setp 4. now select your portable disk which you wish to make bootable.

Step 5. select disk 1 (you may choose accordingly 1 or 2 etc. ).

Step 6. then run clean

Step 7. create partition primary

Step 8. select partition 1

Step 9. active

Step 10. format fs=ntfs quick

Step 11. assign

Step 12. exit.

Step 13. now extract your desire operating system .iso file in the usb portable device.
