 How to enable PHP Data Objects  (PDO)  OpenBSD 5.1 

The PHP Data Objects (PDO) extension defines a lightweight, consistent interface for accessing databases in PHP. Each database driver that implements the PDO interface can expose database-specific features as regular extension functions. If you want to perform any database functions using  PDO extension then you have to 'enable PHP Data Objects  (PDO)'  here you can follow steps to 'enable PHP Data Objects  (PDO)'  on linux OpenBsd 5.1 version. 

Steps to enable PHP Data Objects (PDO)

# pkg_add -i http://ftp.vim.org/OpenBSD/5.1/packages/amd64/php-pdo_mysql-5.3.10.tgz

# ln -fs /etc/php-5.3.sample/pdo_mysql.ini /etc/php-5.3/pdo_mysql.ini


# /etc/rc.d/httpd restart  

then check PHP Data Objects  (PDO)'  enabled on linux OpenBsd 5.1 version.
